My Found Sound is any airport. I have been traveling places since I was five years old, and most of the time it involves being in an airport somewhere in the United States or another country. This is a memory that is neither good nor bad, but it is an indelible memory that I will always remember the sounds at an airport, you see I am also currently an airline employee. Since I work for an airline, I tend to travel a lot and that involves being at an airport at any given time. The sounds of the airport are those of continuous announcements over the intercom system like, “All Passengers and Visitors are reminded that smoking is prohibited.” There are people chatting with each other, you may hear some ones phone ring, or the footsteps of someone walking by, there are all sorts of sounds and noises one may come in contact with at the airport, along with the sound of an airplane taking off. At times those sounds can be annoying especially the repetitive announcements when one has been there a long time because their flight is delayed, but there are also times when the sounds of airport make you feel good you can just pick and go anywhere you want to in the world and the flight is on time and one can sit in the airport happily awaiting their time to board the plane and take off. Overall the sounds in the airport are a memory that I can always consider at times good or bad, or it just really doesn’t matter.
